A recent survey of Dublin Chamber's member identified their key priorities in advance of the coming election as Transport and Competitiveness. Of the areas surveyed Transport was also seen by members as being in the poorest current state, followed by Coordinated Governance for Dublin.
Dublin Chamber's members ranked the six issues below in terms of what the priorities for Government over the next 5 years should be:
1. Transport Infrastructure
2. Competitiveness / Business Cost
3. Quality of Life
4. Investment in Science, Education and Training
5. Promotion of Entrepreneurial Culture
6. Coordinated Governance for Dublin
With a very positive response rate of over 12.5% (210 responses) from 181 different companies, employing over 139,000 workers and with a turnover in excess of €35.5 bn (excluding financial sector). Dublin Chamber drew from these results in its recently released 'Dublin Business Priorities' document.
